True robotic delivery precision

This is a painless, non-invasive treatment that delivers high doses of precisely targeted radiation. Recovery is often immediate, given its low risk of complications and damage to healthy tissue. The machine is under procurement and will be operational by January 2022. It will be the first in Africa.

The CyberKnife allows patients to lie comfortably on the procedure table without anesthesia while the robotic arm moves, without touching them, to treat all areas of the tumor. Recovery is often immediate, given its low risk of complications and damage to healthy tissue. The CyberKnife treats brain cancer (benign and malignant); head and neck cancer; liver cancer; lung cancer; pancreatic cancer; prostate cancer and other benign tumors.

What makes the CyberKnife System unique?

It is the only fully robotic radiation delivery system. The robotic design, coupled with real-time imaging, enables the CyberKnife System to deliver ablative doses of radiation directly to the tumor from thousands of beam angles with sub-millimeter precision and accuracy.

True robotic precision for personalized radiotherapy.

Radiation therapy is a treatment option for many types of tumors throughout the body. Precise and accurate delivery of radiation to the tumor is key to killing cancerous cells while minimizing dose to healthy tissues.

Accurate and precise delivery helps minimize irradiation of the healthy tissues surrounding tumors and potentially the risk of side effects, which may lead to better quality of life for the patient both during and after treatment.

Proven Technology

Being able to precisely and accurately deliver radiation makes a difference in terms of controlling cancer and reducing the risk of side effects.

Fewer Treatments

A less disruptive option with a faster return to your everyday life.
